The current Apps do not create Soft-D Lab user accounts.

You can use the current consumer Apps without registering a profile or signing in. Therefore, there is normally no Soft-D Lab account to close. This page still lets you request deletion of support correspondence or limited SDK data that can reasonably be linked to your app installation.

1. Submit a deletion request

  1. Email privacy@softdlab.com with the subject “App data deletion request.”
  2. Include the App name, platform (iOS/iPadOS or Android), country or region, approximate installation or use dates, and whether your request concerns AppsFlyer, Firebase Crashlytics, support correspondence, or all identifiable data.
  3. Do not include a password, authentication code, full advertising identifier, payment-card number, government identifier, or unrelated sensitive information. If an identifier is necessary, we will explain a proportionate and safer verification method.
  4. Reply to a reasonable verification request. We ask only for information needed to prevent unauthorized deletion and locate the record.

Submitting a valid request is free. You may use an authorized agent where applicable law allows; we may request proof of authority and direct verification with you.

2. What the request covers

After a request is verified and the relevant record can be identified, we will delete or instruct the appropriate processor to delete:

  • support and privacy correspondence you identify, except the minimal request record or material that must lawfully be retained;
  • AppsFlyer end-user data associated with the identified installation, using AppsFlyer’s available privacy-request mechanism;
  • Firebase Crashlytics records that can reasonably be associated with the identified installation and that remain within our control or the provider’s deletion capability; and
  • any Soft-D Lab account profile and associated user content if a future App version introduces accounts.

Some crash and aggregate records do not contain enough information to identify a person or installation. Properly anonymized or aggregated information that cannot reasonably be linked back to you is not personal data and may be retained for reliability and statistical purposes.

3. Process and timing

  1. Acknowledgment: we ordinarily acknowledge a complete email within five business days.
  2. Verification and search: we confirm scope, perform proportionate verification where necessary, and search the systems we control.
  3. Deletion: we delete responsive data or submit a deletion instruction to the provider. We ordinarily complete this within 30 days after verification, or within the shorter or longer period required by applicable law.
  4. Confirmation: we tell you when the request is complete, what could not be located, and any lawful exception we relied on.

Provider processing and backup rotation can take additional time. During that period, data scheduled for deletion is not used for a new purpose. Google states that Crashlytics crash records and associated identifiers are retained for 90 days before removal from live and backup systems begins. AppsFlyer deletion is handled through its privacy-request framework and retention systems.

4. Data that may be retained

We may retain only the minimum information necessary when deletion is limited by a valid legal exception, including to:

  • complete a transaction or provide a service you requested;
  • detect security incidents, prevent fraud or abuse, and repair errors;
  • comply with tax, accounting, app-store, sanctions, court-order, or other legal obligations;
  • exercise or defend legal claims; or
  • maintain a minimal suppression or request log showing that a deletion request was honored.

We will explain the category and reason unless law prohibits us from doing so. Retained data will not be used for an incompatible purpose and will be deleted when the exception no longer applies.

5. Purchases and subscriptions are separate

A deletion request does not cancel billing.

Deleting an App, SDK data, support correspondence, or a Soft-D Lab account does not cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google. Cancel it separately through the platform account.

  • Manage Apple subscriptions
  • Manage Google Play subscriptions

App stores independently retain purchase records under their own legal and privacy obligations. Soft-D Lab cannot delete data controlled solely by Apple or Google.

6. Requests for a child

A parent or legal guardian may request deletion of information believed to relate to a child. Use the subject “Child privacy deletion request,” identify the App and platform, and explain your relationship to the child. Do not email the child’s government ID or other excessive information. We will provide a proportionate parental-verification step if needed.
